Destiny Tours Sydney's hearse Elvira spent all Thursday travelling the 800 kilometers to Coolangatta. Here she stops for a break at the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour.
Friday night was Cruisin' Night. The Gold Coast and Sydney hearses looked very cool and were great favourites with the crowds that lined the route!
Elvira was honoured to carry the King himself!
Saturday was the Street Parade, and Destiny Tours won the trophy for the Best Novelty Float. In the foreground is the Destiny Tours Gold Coast 1958 Cadillac hearse, followed by Destiny Tours Sydney's 1967 hearse and the Destiny Tours Gold Coast vintage bus.
The Gold Coast hearse as seen through the windscreen of the Sydney hearse Elvira, and Elvira's handsome owner/ driver, Allan. Thanks to Terry Griffin of the Cadillac LaSalle Club in Queensland for these 2 photos.
Sunday was Display Day and Destiny Tours won another trophy, for Best Group Display.
